Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and related procedures in a patient-focused environment. You will operate ultrasound equipment, provide imaging services, and deliver comprehensive care to neonatal through geriatric patients.

Required BCLS at hire, ARDMS registration within 6 months, and possible ARRT (BS) licensure. No experience required beyond training; join a growing team in Georgia.

• Certifications include BCLS, ARDMS registration within 6 months of employment, and breast ultrasound licensure via ARRT (BS).

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
• Provides patient care to all age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.

AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required or
• In Lieu of equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Required

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Must become registered by the ARDMS within (6) months of employment. within 180 Days Required and
• Vascular Sonographers must become registered and/or RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS) within (6) months of employment. within 180 Days Required and
• Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS) Required
