Job summary

FUJIFILM Sonosite in Bothell, WA seeks a Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations across production areas, manage inventory, and drive quality investigations to meet throughput, quality, and cost targets.

You will coach Assemblers, Test Technicians, and Material Handlers on two shifts, champion Lean improvements, and partner with Production Engineering, Supply Planning, and QA to deliver compliant, low-cost products.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience including coaching, motivating others and dealing with performance management issues.
• Experience managing diverse multifunctional organizations.
• Proven ability to align both direct labor and supervisory employees in pursuit of common objectives.
• Lean techniques and principles to improve flow and reduce waste.
• Experience in regulated environments (ISO/GMP/FAA).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple production areas to meet throughput, quality, and cost objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop team leads and direct labor staff.
• Develop schedules and manpower requirements; drive on-time delivery of backlog.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen) and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering, Supply Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Regulatory, and R&D.
