Job summary

FUJIFILM Sonosite, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Clinical Engineer in Bothell, WA to drive ultrasound-powered point-of-care solutions.

You will lead clinical input across R&D, ensure systems meet user needs, and guide design decisions with a strong emphasis on reliability and safety. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project deliverables, and contribute to training and education initiatives. This role requires extensive ultrasound expertise and a track record in clinical product

Qualifications

Registered sonographer with 8–10 years of experience.
3–7 years in medical device industry.
3–7 years POCUS development preferred.
RDMS, RVT, RDCS and/or CCI required; RDMS preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product development teams to ensure clinically diagnostic, safe systems.
Act as clinical lead on projects and programs with cross-functional teams.
Ensure on-time delivery of clinical engineering deliverables.
Lead regression testing planning, execution and reporting.
Conduct education and product launches through train-the-trainer activities.
Maintain knowledge of technology, trends, and clinical workflows related to POCUS.
Advocate for customer needs focusing on reliability, durability, ease of use, and education.
Refine and design state-of-the-art ultrasound technologies.
Design ultrasound image optimization in collaboration with Ultrasound Engineering.
Capture clinical needs for POCUS users.
Align research protocols with clinical workflows.
Oversee ultrasound system testing before customer delivery.
Participate in risk assessments and quality reviews.
Mentor other Clinical Engineering team members.
Review new features, systems, and transducers.
