Job summary

FUJIFILM Sonosite seeks a Production Manager in Bothell, WA to lead ultrasound production lines and teams across two shifts. You will optimize throughput, quality, and cost while driving waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will manage Assemblers, Test Technicians, and Material Handlers, coach leaders, and interface with Production Engineering, Supply Planning, QA, and R&D. A BS degree and 5+ years supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience including coaching, motivating others and dealing with performance management issues.
• Experience managing diverse multifunctional organizations.
• Proven ability to align direct labor and supervisory employees in pursuit of objectives.
• Proven record of accountability to performance measures.
• Experience in lean techniques: Kanban, OEE, 5S, Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple production areas to meet throughput, quality, and cost objectives.
• Drive growth of customer value through product responsibilities.
• Coach and develop team leads and direct labor staff.
• Coordinate activities to meet production, quality, and cost objectives.
• Prioritize schedules based on NPI, equipment efficiency, and material availability.
• Assist budgetary recommendations for capital expenditures and labor.
• Develop schedules and manpower; implement Supply Chain improvement initiatives.
• Lead Lean continuous improvement culture and cross-functional collaboration.
