Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced proposal leader for North America who can guide a bid team across engineering, sourcing, and contract management to deliver competitive UPW and high-purity water solutions. This role supports sales from lead qualification through contract handover, ensuring compliant, high-quality proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 8+ years of proposal management, applications engineering, or project management experience in industrial water treatment with UPW/high-purity systems.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-volume proposals.
• Familiarity with design-build delivery methods.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Bid Team across Application Engineering, Process Design, Sourcing, Contract Management and others to align proposals with Veolia's strategy.
• Oversee end-to-end proposal development from RFP planning to final submission.
• Facilitate strategy sessions, kick-offs, and status calls to drive a competitive proposal approach.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules and responsibilities to ensure timely delivery.
• Perform thorough compliance reviews of proposal content to meet all RFP/RFQ requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on lessons learned to raise proposal quality.
• Collaborate with sales and bid teams to structure solutions, pricing, and execution models.
