Job summary

FORMULATRIX is seeking an Applications Sales Specialist to champion our Ultrafiltration/TFF (Pulse) portfolio across the Eastern US and Canada. The role bridges cutting-edge science and sales, managing the full sales process from lead to close with the Inside Sales team.

Ideal candidates have a life sciences background, strong communication, and willingness to travel across the territory; Boston area preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a BSc in a life sciences field with knowledge of biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology.
• Hands-on experience in at least one area such as TFF, protein purification, or nucleic acids analysis on a multi-milligram scale.
• Prior sales experience is a plus but not required if you have the technical drive and communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Based in the Boston area with ability to travel across Eastern US and Canada; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage opportunities from contact through negotiation and closing.
• Deliver customer demos and provide hands-on support during evaluations.
• Provide expert applications support and customer training; ensure onboarding.
• Travel across the territory to meet customers and represent FORMULATRIX at trade shows.
