Philips is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer – Advanced Imaging to shape how clinicians view intravascular imaging and physiology products. This onsite Bedford, MA role owns visual and interaction design from concept to release.

You will build the Advanced Imaging design system, craft production-ready UI outputs, and work with engineers to ensure the shipped UI matches design, while translating clinician feedback into actionable concepts and usability evaluations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing UI for software products that reached market; portfolio required.
• Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience building or maintaining a design system.
• Working fluency with UX methods (user stories, workflow analysis, contextual inquiry, usability testing).
• Experience facilitating design sprints is a plus.
• Experience in medical devices or regulated UI is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with design controls and IEC 62366-1 is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in interaction design, visual/graphic design, HCI, or related field.
• Clear communication skills to articulate the clinical ecosystem.
• Ability to perform minimum Physical, Cognitive, and Environmental requirements.

Responsabilités

• Own the product look and feel, including typography, color, layout, iconography, and motion for SaMD and SiMD.
• Build and maintain the Advanced Imaging design system with components, tokens, and patterns.
• Design for cath lab use cases with readability, tableside operation, low-light conditions, and time pressure.
• Produce production-ready UI outputs: high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, specs, and assets; collaborate with engineers.
• Translate user needs and clinician feedback into interaction concepts and run usability evaluations.
• Contribute UI specs and usability inputs to IEC 62366-1 in collaboration with Human Factors and Quality.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Clinical, and Regulatory; work with Philips IGTD team.
