Job summary

Philips is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed UX Designer to lead the experience design of AI-enabled cath lab solutions. You will be embedded on-site at a partner hospital (Asheville, NC or Nashville, TN) and work with clinicians, engineers, and product teams across Philips’ IGT Systems.

Strong collaboration and on-site presence are required. The role focuses on translating clinical workflows into scalable, user-centered experiences while aligning with Philips Design Language System and brand

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in UX design in healthcare or related fields.
• Experience leading design in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience designing AI-enabled solutions in regulated environments (healthcare).
• Proficient with Figma, Microsoft Office; familiar with AI-assisted design tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead human-centered design by immersing in clinical environments to understand user needs, workflows, and challenges.
• Create and validate user-centered solutions with clinicians, IT teams, engineers, and product leaders; iterate from concept to prototype.
• Define how users interact with AI-powered systems and guide the development of adaptive, explainable experiences.
