Job summary

Philips is seeking a UI/UX Designer – Advanced Imaging in Bedford, MA to shape how clinicians see and interact with intravascular imaging and physiology software. You will own the visual and interaction design for SaMD and SiMD from concept through commercial release.

You’ll build and maintain the Advanced Imaging design system, design for cath labs, and deliver production-ready UI while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Philips IGTD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing UI for software products that reached market.
• Portfolio showing visual craft and data-dense, task-critical screens.
• Fluent in UX methods: user stories, workflow analysis, contextual inquiry and usability testing.
• Experience in medical devices or regulated, high-consequence UI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the look and feel of the products: typography, color, layout, iconography and motion.
• Build and maintain the Advanced Imaging design system with components and tokens.
• Design for the cath lab: remote readability, distance viewing, low light environments.
• Deliver production-ready UI: high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, specs for engineers.
• Translate user needs into interaction concepts and contribute to usability files.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Clinical and Regulatory teams.
