Job summary
Philips is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed UX Designer to lead on-site experience design for AI-enabled IGT-S solutions in Asheville, NC or Nashville, TN. You will embed in a partner hospital, collaborating with clinicians and engineers to translate workflows into scalable, user-centered designs while upholding Philips’ Design Language System and brand standards.
The role requires 7+ years of UX experience (or 3+ years with a Master’s) and strong proficiency with Figma and AI-assisted design
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in UX design or related field.
- Experience leading design within multidisciplinary teams, preferably in regulated healthcare environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead human-centered design efforts by immersing in clinical environments to understand user needs and workflows.
- Translate insights into meaningful UX solutions in collaboration with clinicians, IT teams, engineers, and product leaders.
- Develop prototypes and validate designs to ensure alignment with business goals and brand standards.
- Mentor fellow designers and guide development of AI-enabled, explainable UX experiences.
