Job summary

Factory Capital is seeking a highly organized Staff Accountant to support accounts payable across multi-entity structures tied to UHNW client entities in Los Angeles (and Houston). This role demands accuracy, confidentiality, and timely processing of invoices, with responsibility for payables, reconciliations, and reporting across complex client portfolios.

The ideal candidate has AP experience, proficiency with Bill.com or QuickBooks, Excel, and strong written/verbal communication to interact

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable experience required, with multi-entity experience a strong plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus.
• Proficiency with Bill.com, QuickBooks, and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process, verify, and reconcile invoices across multiple client entities per firm policy.
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports.
• Record expenses to appropriate accounts with accurate categorization across diverse client structures.
• Resolve invoices and payment discrepancies with speed and discretion.
• Maintain full-cycle documentation for debit/credit card activity, including receipts.
• Manage vendor payments by verifying federal ID numbers and scheduling/preparing payments.
• Prepare bill pay reports and reconcile unpaid bills for review by internal teams and clients.
• Prepare 1099s across multiple entities.
• Flag issues to management before they reach clients.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client financial information.
• Stay current on firm policies and procedures.
• Support broader accounting and organizational goals as needed.
