Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I Electrician (UH-60) to inspect and maintain aircraft electrical systems. You will install wiring, diagnose faults, and ensure avionics readiness while adhering to manuals, directives, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing aircraft for inspections, performing checks, and maintaining equipment records. A strong background in MDS electrical systems and safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • U.S. military technical school or specialized training is desired; certification of education level is required.
  • Valid A&P and/or FCC license is optional but preferred.
  • Three years aviation maintenance experience, two years rotary wing experience, and two years on the MDS within the last six years.
  • Valid driver's license and own tools are required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and perform electrical maintenance on aircraft electrical systems and components.
  • Install and repair electrical wiring and avionics equipment per manuals and specs.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electrical and electronic subsystems.
  • Prepare aircraft for inspections and assist with scheduled and special inspections.
  • Maintain records and ensure safety procedures are followed.
