Job summary

Amentum seeks a UH60 Aircraft Mechanic I to troubleshoot and repair aircraft structures, engines, and systems including anti-icing, pneudraulic, and hydraulics to ensure airworthiness.

Responsibilities include reading manuals, performing 100-hour and phase inspections, replacing worn parts, and documenting work. An up-to-date A&P license or equivalent experience is required; U.S. citizenship may be needed for credentials.

Qualifications

• Valid up-to-date A&P license or equivalent maintenance experience.
• Minimum three years aviation maintenance experience; two years rotary wing UH60 experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization; U.S. citizenship may be required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft structures and systems using hand and power tools.
• Read and apply maintenance manuals, service bulletins and diagrams.
• Perform 100-hour, isochronal, and other required inspections and tests.
• Inspect turbine blades, engines, and components for wear, cracks and damage.
• Remove, repair or replace worn parts and reassemble engines and components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and safety compliance.
