Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I Avionics/Electrician (UH-60) in California. You will inspect, test, and repair aircraft electrical systems and avionics, following manuals and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include wiring work, troubleshooting, and maintaining instrument systems in support of mission readiness. Required are a high school diploma, military technical training, and 3 years aviation maintenance experience with 2 years on rotary wing aircraft.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• U.S. military technical school or specialized training desired; certification of education level required.
• A&P and/or FCC license (optional).
• Three years aviation maintenance experience, two years rotary wing experience, and two years on the assigned MDS in the last six years.
• Must be able to obtain a Passport and travel internationally (OCONUS).
• Must provide own tools with toolbox shadowed and etched with PID.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform electrical maintenance on aircraft electrical systems and components.
• Install, test, and repair avionics equipment including radar, radio, and navigation systems.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electrical/electronic subsystems and instrument systems.
• Prepare forms and records related to aircraft maintenance; maintain logs and records.
