Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I Electrician (UH-60) to inspect and maintain aircraft electrical systems, avionics, and instrument subsystems. You will install, test, repair, and document maintenance per manuals and directives, with opportunities to lead teams on complex tasks when required.

Candidate must have a high school diploma and aviation maintenance experience, with a U.S. military technical background preferred and A&P/FCC licenses optional.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• U.S. military technical school or specialized training preferred.
• A&P and/or FCC license (optional) desired.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform electrical maintenance on aircraft electrical systems and components.
• Install, remove, test, and repair avionics equipment and wiring per manuals and safety procedures.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/electronic subsystems and instrument systems.
• Prepare forms and records related to aircraft maintenance and requisition parts as needed.
