Job summary

Amentum in Barstow, CA is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I Avionics/Electrician (UH-60) to inspect and perform electrical maintenance on aircraft systems in accordance with manuals and safety procedures.

The role involves installing and repairing avionics equipment, wiring, and power systems, diagnosing faults, and maintaining records. Candidates should have relevant experience, valid licenses (optional), and be able to work various shifts, including TDY as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A&P license and/or FCC license (optional) or equivalent specialized training.
• Shall have three years aviation maintenance experience, two years rotary wing experience, and two years on MDS in the last six years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform electrical maintenance on aircraft electrical systems and components.
• Install, test, and repair avionics equipment such as radar, radio, and navigation systems.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electrical and electronic subsystems.
• Prepare forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.
