Job summary

AV in California is seeking a Production Technician II to test/assemble Small Unmanned Aircraft System products in our manufacturing facility, following drawings and assembly instructions using our work order system. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include mechanical assembly of subassemblies, final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles, testing, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering to improve documentation

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Typically <1 year of related manufacturing/production experience.
• Experience with hand tools including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools and air tools is required.
• Good manual dexterity and basic computer skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble subassemblies using hand/power tools; some soldering may be required.
• Final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles
• Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies
• Follow work order protocols and complete related paperwork
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
