Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Production Technician to test and assemble Small Unmanned Aerial System products in our manufacturing facility. The role involves mechanical assembly of subassemblies, in-process testing, and final assembly under established procedures.

Candidates should have 2–5 years in electronics/electro-mechanical manufacturing, strong tooling skills, and good communication. ITAR compliance and a focus on quality are essential; environment emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing/production experience in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test.
• Experience with hand tools including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, air tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble subassemblies with hand and power tools as primary duty.
• Soldering may be required.
• Final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles.
• Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Ensure work order protocols are followed and paperwork completed.
