Job summary

AV in Utah is seeking a Production Technician III to test and assemble Small Unmanned Aerial System products in our manufacturing facility, following engineering drawings and work orders. You will perform mechanical subassembly, final assembly, testing, and troubleshooting, with opportunities to train others and improve assembly documentation.

The role requires hands-on skills with hand and power tools, soldering ability, strong manual dexterity, and the capacity to read and interpret various

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing or production, electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test.
• Experience with hand tools including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools and air tools.
• Ability to solder as part of assembly function and duties.
• Good manual dexterity and basic computer operation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical subassembly and final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles.
• Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Follow work order protocols and complete paperwork as work is performed.
• May train other technicians and conduct in-process quality checks.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to improve assembly efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support new product development efforts where documentation is not finalized.
