Job summary

HappyGlobal Service seeks a Head of U.S. Operations to lead the U.S. subsidiary, spanning data governance, analytics, and customer support. You will build scalable processes and ensure strong regulatory compliance while driving growth in the U.S. market.

The role requires 7+ years of senior leadership experience, expertise in U.S. privacy rules (CCPA/CPRA), and a track record of scaling ecommerce and channel sales. On-site role with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of executive or senior leadership experience managing U.S. business operations and cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading and scaling U.S. business operations across multiple functions.
• Proven expertise in U.S. data privacy frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk management (CCPA/CPRA).
• Experience scaling e-commerce operations, channel sales, and customer success in the U.S. market.
• Strong strategic planning, operational leadership, stakeholder management, and problem solving.
• Excellent cross-functional communication across local and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the U.S. subsidiary and oversee cross-functional local teams.
• Own and oversee U.S. data privacy and governance, ensuring compliance with federal/state regs including CCPA/CPRA.
• Develop and implement internal policies, governance frameworks, and data lifecycle management.
• Lead risk assessments, audits, and remediation to address operational, privacy, and regulatory risks.
• Manage U.S. organization through talent acquisition, headcount planning, and performance management.
• Oversee and scale local e-commerce operations and coordinate resources for market initiatives.
• Drive channel sales expansion and strategic account development with key customer relationships.
• Lead and optimize pre-sales, mid-sales, and post-sales support to improve service and retention.
