Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Beale AFB location seeks a U-2 Aircraft Modification Technical Lead to plan and execute depot-level modifications and TCTOs. You will coordinate between technicians, the CFT Site Lead, and the customer to ensure day-to-day activities run smoothly.

This role requires hands-on experience with U-2 or Fighter airframes, avionics, electrical and structures; reading blueprints/schematics; and clear communication in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with U-2 or Fighter aircraft maintenance and modification activities to include Depot Maintenance or MODs.
• Experienced in U-2 and or Fighter Aircraft Avionics, Electrical and Environmental or structures specialties
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, workbooks
• Experience with USAF products and processes to include hardware and maintenance, technical orders and technical drawings, at the organizational and intermediate levels

Responsibilities

• Serve as intermediary between technicians, CFT Site Lead, and customer while assisting technicians with day-to-day activities.
• Working Technical Lead: skilled in aircraft electrical systems, wiring maintenance, or structural maintenance for MOD Aircraft.
• Complete jobs in maintenance data collection systems, adhere to all technical orders and procedures.
• Perform troubleshooting on systems and components on the aircraft as required.
• Support all maintenance performed on the assigned aircraft and provide status updates to CFT Lead and customer.
