Lockheed Martin seeks a U-2 Aircraft Modification Technician to join the Aircraft Modification Team at Beale AFB, California, delivering precise electrical and avionics modifications to U-2 aircraft.

You will troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain avionics, electrical, landing gear, flight controls and hydraulic systems, ensuring readiness of the fleet. The role requires strong documentation and strict adherence to orders and procedures.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required at start.
• Experience with U-2 avionics/e&e preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of U-2 electrical, avionics, landing gear, flight controls, and hydraulic systems.
• Execute maintenance actions in compliance with technical orders, fault isolation manuals, and local operational instructions.
• Document all work in maintenance data collection systems and ensure accuracy of records.
• Maintain aircraft readiness by overseeing all maintenance performed on assigned aircraft.
• Support frequent domestic and international travel, complying with passport and security requirements.
