Job summary

Lockheed Martin's Aeronautics Field Sustainment team at Beale AFB California seeks a U-2 Aircraft Modification Technical Lead to plan and execute depot-level modifications and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs). You will provide critical post-sales support and coordinate with technicians and customer sites.

The role requires 3+ years in U-2 or fighter aircraft maintenance, wiring, avionics, and reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with U-2 or Fighter aircraft maintenance and modification activities to include Depot Maintenance or MODs
• Experienced in U-2 and or Fighter Aircraft Avionics, Electrical and Environmental or structures specialties
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, workbooks
• Experience with USAF products and processes to include hardware and maintenance, technical orders and technical drawings, at the organizational and intermediate levels

Responsibilities

• Provides a level of postsales support and service to customer sites and remote sites at a high-tech level
• Intermediary between technicians, CFT Site Lead, and customer while assisting technicians
• Lead in aircraft electrical systems, wiring maintenance and structural build up for MOD Aircraft
• Complete jobs in maintenance data collection systems and adhere to technical orders and procedures
• Troubleshoot systems and components on the aircraft as required
• Support all maintenance performed on the assigned aircraft
• Provide status of work to CFT Lead and customer
• Assist with PPE, tools, and FOD controls
• Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and customers
• Read, write, and speak English fluently
