Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of experience related to learning assistance.
• Master’s degree and knowledge of learning theory preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to assess needs.
• Experience developing and implementing student programming at the post-secondary level.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and students in programming efforts.
• Willingness to work some evenings and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee Tutoring Center’s Peer Tutoring program and assessment.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide feedback to Peer Tutors.
• Coordinate undergraduate staff schedules and training processes.
• Collaborate on recruitment, interviews, and trainings for SI leaders.
• Lead tutoring for special cohort programs and STEM centers.
• Develop weekly attendance reports for all tutoring services.
• Lead assessment initiatives for Peer Tutoring and CRLA certification.
• Foster partnerships with academic departments and campus programs.
• Market Tutoring Center services and represent the Center at events.
• Supervise Tutoring Center staff and graduate student support.
