TPAPT seeks experienced AP Instructors to tutor high school students online in AP Physics and related topics. You will tailor lesson plans to individual learning styles and support academic goals in a remote setting.

The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher with AP course experience, strong communication, and a passion for helping students succeed. Sessions occur primarily 3PM–9PM CST on weekdays with occasional weekend slots.

Qualifications

• Licensed teacher with AP experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with online lesson delivery.

Responsabilités

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12.
• Tutoring sessions are 60–90 minutes.
• Sessions scheduled 3PM–9PM CST on weekdays; 10AM–4PM CST on select weekends.
• Maintain regular and reliable tutoring assignments.

TPAPT, a national nonprofit consortium of over 15,000 locally owned and operated tutoring & college advising programs, is seeking experienced AP Instructors to work with US students in grades 9-12. Tutors will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals.

The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher who is passionate about education, exhibits strong communication skills, and has instructed or tutored this AP course for their high school in the past.

Tests: AP Physics

Classification: Contract

Compensation: $30-$35/hr

Location: Online

The Position

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are 60-90 minutes
• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable
• Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 3PM and 9PM CST during the week and between 10am - 4pm CST for part of a weekend day.

Requirements

• 3-12 hours per week of availability
• Earned Bachelor's Degree
• Materials for the subject mentioned in the post
• Exceptionally strong communication skills
• A passion for helping others learn
• Familiarity with online lesson delivery
• State teaching certification (current/former) and experience teaching the AP subject mentioned in this post preferred
