Job summary

TPAPT is seeking an experienced AP Physics tutor to support US high school students in grades 9-12 in an online setting. This contract role offers remote work with a flexible schedule, typically 3PM–9PM CST on weekdays and some weekend slots.

You will create customized lesson plans aligned with AP standards to help students master test-taking strategies. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and state teaching certification (current or former) with prior AP Physics teaching or tutoring

Qualifications

• 3-12 hours per week of availability.
• Earned Bachelor's Degree.
• State teaching certification (current/former) preferred.
• Experience teaching or tutoring AP Physics.

Responsibilities

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12.
• Tutoring assignments are 60-90 minutes.
• Tutoring sessions scheduled between 3PM and 9PM CST weekdays and 10AM-4PM CST on some weekends.

Tutors will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals. The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher who is passionate about education, exhibits strong communication skills, and has instructed or tutored this AP course for their high school in the past.
