Job summary

NextDecade seeks a Sr. Scheduler, TAR to own and optimize integrated Turnaround schedules across Level1–3 hierarchies. You will ensure logic, resource loading, and sequencing for safe, efficient TAR execution in a complex plant environment.

You will build schedules using Primavera P6, align with CBS, import work packages via API, and lead CPM with proactive risk mitigation and daily performance reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in turnaround scheduling in LNG, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical industries.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 CPM, resource loading/leveling, baseline management.
• Experience with SAP PM integration and STO scheduling systems.
• Proven experience managing integrated execution schedules for large-scale turnarounds.
• Proficiency in schedule optimization, SIMOPS management, and CPM recovery planning.
• Strong communication skills to present status, variances, and recovery plans to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and ensure TAR team adherence to schedules.
• Develop the Turnaround master schedule with P6, including critical path and resource loading.
• Create WBS structure aligned to CBS and TAR Systemization Plan; import activities via API.
• Assign calendars, verify logic ties, and include pre/post-TAR activities with Ops coordination.
• Load resources by craft; generate histograms; resolve over-allocations and re-run CPM.
• Manage baseline, changes, and variance reporting with Steering Committee involvement.
• Conduct daily CP status reviews and produce CP look-ahead; drive schedule recovery actions.
• Coordinate with Discipline Leads to validate durations, sequencing, and resources.
