Job summary

Clear Investment Group in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Property Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a distressed residential community, with a focus on leasing, maintenance coordination, staff management, and financial performance.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in property management, proven turnaround success, strong leadership, and experience with Yardi or RentCafe; this is an on-site role requiring active resident relations and operational oversight.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property management experience, preferably multifamily or distressed properties.
• Proven success stabilizing and turning around underperforming properties.
• Strong leadership with team hiring, supervision, and performance management.
• Experience using Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, or similar PM software.
• Solid understanding of Fair Housing laws and local housing regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations, ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and preventive care; manage vendor relations.
• Monitor leases, community rules, and safety policies; handle resident concerns.
• Supervise on-site teams including leasing, maintenance, and contractors; schedule and coach staff.
• Maintain occupancy through strategic leasing and marketing efforts; oversee campaigns.
