Job summary

Frontline Real Estate Partners is seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties in the Chicago MSA and surrounding areas. You will manage on-site and office duties, vendors, subsidies, maintenance, budgets, rent collection, and code compliance, with field work across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of multifamily management experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Yardi Voyager and RentCafe.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of multifamily property management experience, preferably Class B/C or affordable housing.
• Experience managing properties in urban environments and economically underserved neighborhoods.
• Comfortable interacting with residents, vendors, and officials.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager and RentCafe is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently in office and field.
• Team-oriented and proactive mindset.
• Construction or project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and capital projects across assigned residential properties.
• Oversee vendor performance and bids; maintain strong working relationships.
• Conduct regular property inspections, document conditions, and recommend improvements.
• Oversee unit turnover, move-ins, and move-outs with policy compliance and documentation.
• Coordinate with municipalities, inspectors, and utility providers as needed.
• Assist with property stabilization efforts and budget planning.
• Provide responsive and respectful communication with residents and manage delinquencies.
