Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking an experienced MPTA Controls Manager to lead planning, estimating, scheduling and turnaround management within a refinery setting. You will oversee controls personnel, align SAP with planning functions, and drive data-driven reporting to site management.

The role requires 10+ years in process-plant controls, Primavera P6 and SAP proficiency, and hands-on leadership in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in planning, estimating, scheduling and construction/maintenance management in a process plant environment.
• Primavera scheduling software (P6) and SAP strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced project controls training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for MPTA control processes and schedules for turnarounds and capital projects.
• Supervise controls personnel across turnarounds and maintenance teams.
• Ensure alignment of controls with planning/scheduling and SAP integration.
• Develop standardized work processes aligned with company procedures and global controls network.
• Lead data collection, quality screening and timely issuance of controls reports.
• Analyze CPI/SPI performance and coordinate with field contractors.
• Lead assurance activities and prepare estimates for shared costs.
• Ensure discipline in MPTA control activities and reporting.
