HF Sinclair Corporation seeks a seasoned engineer to lead turnaround (TA) technical work from scoping through turnover to operations. The role focuses on piping and pressure equipment, MOC stewardship, and coordinating procurement and design packages.

Requirements include a mechanical engineering degree and 5–10 years in an operations technical support role. Office and plant work with travel up to 10% and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive work experience in engineering or project management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical abilities and communication skills, with teamwork across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide general engineering support to the TA department and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare bid packages for engineered equipment and service contracts, coordinating inputs.
• Design package development and assurance focused on piping and pressure equipment workscope.
• Coordinate and provide assurance for hot taps and plugs within TA scope.
• Participate in safeguarding reviews and MOC process leadership for TA activities.
• Participate in schedule reviews for critical operations and maintenance tasks.
