Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant homes for new residents, performing inspections, repairs, and readiness tasks. You will manage your daily workload, ensure timely turns, and document outcomes.

The role requires basic handyman experience, strong time management, and tech-savviness to update systems and photos. Responsibilities include inspections, documenting repair needs, installing hardware, detectors, and completing punch items.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years handyman, maintenance, or construction experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of residential repair tasks and tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic-intermediate written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to problem-solve residential related repairs.
• Ability to utilize technology on computers, mobile devices, and systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial move-out inspections on assigned homes.
• Identify and document repair needs and scope of work.
• Assist with punch walks and final readiness tasks.
• Support timely turn readiness and leasing readiness.
• Install and test basic hardware (door stops, blinds, lights, detectors).
• Complete minor drywall patching and painting as needed.
• Record inspection findings and completed repairs in company systems.
