Job summary

Maymont Homes, part of Brookfield Properties, is hiring a Make Ready Technician to prep vacant homes for new residents. You will perform move-out inspections, document repair needs, and complete basic repairs to ensure homes meet cleanliness and safety standards.

This role emphasizes time management, independent work, and timely completion of tasks to support leasing readiness across multiple properties. Applicants should have 1–3 years of handyman or maintenance experience and HS diploma.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–3 years in handyman, maintenance, or construction roles.
• Skills: time management, communication, attention to detail, problem solving, and basic tech use.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial move-out inspections and document repair needs.
• Carry out basic repairs and readiness tasks (doors, fixtures, detectors, painting, drywall patches).
• Support efficient turns and communicate repair needs for vendor involvement when needed.
• Record findings and upload photos/notes in company systems.
