Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant homes for new residents by performing inspections, basic repairs, and readiness activities. The role requires independent work, time management, and the ability to complete tasks within defined timelines.

Responsibilities include identifying repair needs, performing hardware installs, cameras/detectors testing, and handling documentation to ensure leasing readiness.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of handyman, maintenance, or construction experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of residential repair tasks and tools; strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial move-out inspections and identify repair needs to define scope of work.
• Assist with punch walks and final readiness tasks to meet leasing readiness timelines.
• Install and replace hardware, detectors, and basic fixtures; handle light interior painting and drywall touch-ups.
• Record inspection findings and completed repairs in company systems; upload before/after photos.
