Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant homes for new residents by performing inspections, completing repairs, and assisting with final readiness tasks. You will manage your daily workload, ensure timelines are met, and contribute to a high-quality lease readiness standard.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years handyman/maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of residential repair tasks and tools.
• Strong organization and time-management skills; good written and verbal communication.
• Detail oriented with problem-solving abilities; able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Inspect move-out homes and document repair needs.
• Install and test door hardware, smoke/CO detectors, and light fixtures.
• Perform drywall patching and basic interior painting.
• Complete repairs on initial visit to support fast turnarounds.
• Record findings and photos in company systems; update status.
