Job summary

Greystar is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to turn vacant apartment homes quickly to market-ready condition. You will perform repairs, ensure caulking and sealing around fixtures, inspect and repair drywall, and handle touch-up painting under supervision.

The role also includes grounds upkeep and adherence to safety policies, with on-call rotations. The position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and offers comprehensive benefits and on-site

Qualifications

• Experience in repairing and maintaining apartment homes.
• Ability to follow make-ready checklists and quality standards.
• Comfort with flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in.
• Caulk and seal around windows, sinks, toilets, baths, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair or replace.
• Perform touch-up painting for vacant and occupied units.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas and amenities; perform cleaning tasks as directed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Complete make-ready checklists and maintenance documentation promptly.
• Adhere to safety policies and attend routine safety meetings; report incidents accurately.
• Provide courteous customer service to residents and address maintenance inquiries.
