Job summary

Select Genetics, a leading poults supplier, seeks a Farm Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on our Kentucky facility. You will supervise staff, monitor biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety while coordinating feed, mortalities, and flock weights.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or related experience, strong communication, self-motivation, and the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and handle live animals.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math and reading skills.
• Requires ability to operate with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication is essential.
• Knowledge of biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow directives of Service Tech and Division Manager.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment on farm.
• Record mortalities and weigh birds as directed.
• Manage feed inventories and weekly feed orders.
• Collaborate with farm staff and veterinarians as needed.
