The role combines hands-on husbandry with strong leadership to train and manage agricultural workers.

Responsibilities include flock care, vaccination scheduling, climate control, and reporting to ensure optimal production, livability, and animal welfare.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in poultry production, ideally turkey breeder operations.
• Ability to lead a diverse team and communicate effectively with staff and supervisors.
• Strong focus on animal welfare, biosecurity, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flock care and management for 3 hen houses and 2 tom houses.
• Monitor health, vaccination scheduling, and welfare to ensure high livability.
• Control barn environment including climate, ventilation, fans, and heaters.
• Lead, coach, and supervise farm workers to ensure performance and safety.
• Enforce company biosecurity policies and ensure a safe working environment.
