Job summary

Aviagen Turkeys Inc. is seeking an experienced Farm Supervisor to coordinate safe, efficient operations across multiple poultry farms in Kentucky.

You will learn the current practices alongside the outgoing supervisor, then lead and coach staff to ensure productive farm performance. The role requires the ability to prioritize, troubleshoot, and provide practical solutions under pressure while maintaining high standards of animal care and operational safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• At least five years of relevant poultry experience.
• Experience with breeder operations, vaccinations, sanitation, biosecurity, and farm operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lay Farm Manager in overseeing safe, efficient, and productive poultry farm operations.
• Learn established farm operations by working alongside the outgoing Farm Supervisor during the transition period.
• Monitor conditions across multiple farms and respond to changing operational needs.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and practical guidance to help employees succeed in their roles.
• Identify training gaps and assist employees in developing needed knowledge and skills.
• Oversee breeder operations, vaccinations, farm cleanouts, sanitation, biosecurity, and routine maintenance.
