Job summary

Select Genetics is seeking a hands-on Farm Manager to lead daily turkey production, oversee animal care, biosecurity, safety, and productivity on our Missouri farm. You will supervise cleaning, maintenance, and team development, while reporting progress to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 2+ years of relevant experience in farm management, agriculture, or animal husbandry.
• Experience working with live animals; poultry or turkey experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical and basic computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.
• Must not own or have contact with backyard poultry, fowl, or swine operations while off-duty due to biosecurity requirements.

• Oversee daily farm operations and ensure productive, compliant performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop farm employees with training on safety and procedures.
• Review activity reports and coordinate with teams to drive process improvements.
