Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States, assisting customers with tax return preparation, advice, and software support.

You will grow the client base through local community engagement and provide a high-touch customer experience in a front-facing retail setting. You will be a trusted advisor, leveraging tax expertise to help clients achieve positive financial outcomes while promoting Intuit’s mission.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license required.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state Form 1040 tax returns per season with professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday–Saturday, minimum 20 hours/week; hours may increase at peak times.
• Interested in building a local/online presence as a TurboTax Expert; content creation allowed per policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax return preparation and tax advice for TurboTax customers.
• Handle simple to complex tax situations (personal/business income, deductions, amendments).
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and minimize liabilities.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government sites, professional tools, and team expertise.
• Create an exceptional customer experience and build long-term client relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools.
• Address client inquiries and help overcome tax-related challenges.
