Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide in-person tax preparation, tax advice, and software support while helping customers navigate their tax needs.

You will grow the local TurboTax client base, build long-term relationships, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience using Intuit tools and marketing support.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Have an active PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040s per season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week.
• Willing to build a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients.
• Lead and participate in local marketing with TurboTax support.
• Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government sites, professional tools, and team expertise.
• Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine helpfulness.
• Connect with clients to build long-term trust and repeat business.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools.
• Address inquiries while helping with tax-related challenges.
