Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks Tax Local Service Experts to work on-site at TurboTax locations, delivering full-service tax preparation and expert guidance. You will connect clients with broader Intuit services, grow the local client base, and provide ongoing support in a fast-paced, customer-first environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on tax advice, community engagement, and collaboration with a network of tax and advisory professionals to deliver seamless client experiences.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with tax preparation experience; knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office location; hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time; minimum 20 hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and development; training requirements may change.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and allow name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert; create tax tips/content per policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow the client base and drive loyalty.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, planning) for year-round support.
• Build relationships and trust to convert one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience, assisting in-person and via Intuit video tools.
