Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax prep and expert advice at a local TurboTax location in the United States. You will engage with customers in person and virtually, build a local client base, and coordinate with the Intuit ecosystem to offer holistic financial services.

This role emphasizes community presence, growth of the local client base, and high-quality service throughout the tax season and beyond.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax prep knowledge.
• PTIN active required to file taxes.
• 3+ years preparing 1040s for 30+ federal/state returns per season with professional software.
• Interest in expanding services beyond filing (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory).
• Willingness to work onsite at a TurboTax location 20+ hours/week.
• Must complete training and adhere to compliance standards.
• Willing to wear company uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete TurboTax client preparation.
• Handle simple to complex returns including business income and deductions.
• Lead discovery and tax reviews to maximize refunds and plan taxes.
• Collaborate with teammates across bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Grow local client base through outreach and events.
• Serve as the local TurboTax face, converting prospects into clients.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in person and virtually.
