Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support at a local TurboTax location. You will work with a team of specialists to address personal and business tax needs, while growing your client base and building community partnerships.

You’ll help clients achieve financial goals, offer year‑round support, and collaborate with marketing and product resources to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Familiarity with Circular 230 and professional tax software usage.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, at least 20 hours/week.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and participate in marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions including bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience across in-person and video interactions.
• Build lasting relationships and foster trust with clients and the local community.
