Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks energetic TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in California. You will provide tax preparation, advisory services, and connect clients with Intuit solutions across the ecosystem.

You will engage with the community, grow the local client base, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience through in-person and video interactions. Onsite hours and ongoing training support success.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax prep knowledge.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years handling 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00–17:00, Mon–Fri, ~20 hours/week.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Holistic tax advisory experience beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business returns and planning.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning) for year-round support.
• Build long-term relationships and trust with clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience via in-person and video interactions.
