Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will provide full-service tax returns, expert tax advice, and software support while collaborating with a team of specialists to offer a complete financial picture to clients. You’ll grow your local client base through outreach, community events, and partnerships, leveraging Intuit tools and marketing support.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney with tax prep experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week; hours may scale up during peak seasons.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; creating tax-related content per policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Serve as a local growth driver, identifying prospects and organizing community events to build a client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning to address needs.
• Deliver end-to-end Intuit experience in in-person and virtual meetings.
• Create exceptional customer experiences and help clients achieve financial goals.
