Our client, an established organization in the business technology and services sector, is seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to oversee project execution from completed sale through delivery, installation, and implementation. This individual will lead a team of Project Managers while coordinating schedules, logistics, resources, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and customer commitments are met.

About the Job:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers, including establishing priorities, balancing workloads, setting performance expectations, and providing ongoing feedback.
• Oversee projects from the post-sale handoff through delivery, installation, implementation, and customer training, ensuring timelines and commitments are met.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, logistics, drivers, installations, and internal resources across multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for project and service delivery challenges, identifying solutions and maintaining ownership through resolution.
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, finance, operations, service, and support teams to ensure smooth handoffs and timely project execution.
• Evaluate existing processes and workflows, identify inefficiencies or breakdowns, and implement improvements that strengthen communication, accountability, and operational performance.
• Monitor project and department performance, including delivery timelines, service quality, expenses, and other key performance metrics.

About You:

• College degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong project management experience overseeing multiple projects, schedules, resources, and competing priorities.
• Previous people-management experience required, including supervising employees, setting expectations, coaching, developing team members, and managing performance.
• Experience within logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, technology implementation, service delivery, or another operationally focused environment strongly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage escalations and partner across departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience utilizing project, order, service, or business management systems.

This contract-to-hire opportunity is best suited for an experienced project or operations leader with strong people-management experience and a background overseeing complex service delivery, logistics, or implementation processes. The role pays $43.26/hour while under contract and approximately $90,000 annually upon permanent conversion, pending performance.

This position follows a four-day onsite, one-day remote hybrid schedule and may require regional travel based on business needs.
