Job summary

Independent Software in Columbia, MD is seeking a Video Field Support Specialist to install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify end-user devices at customer sites, ensuring reliable performance and strong customer satisfaction. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 2+ years.

DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant professional experience; OR Associate's degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify end‑user devices (PCs, thin clients, NICs, phones, monitors, printers, pagers, radios).
• Provide maintenance and technical support on end‑user devices, integrated systems, and subsystems.
• Install and configure software at customer and field locations.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on end‑user equipment.
• Deliver responsive technical support with high customer satisfaction.
