Job summary

FLASH Technology Group in Columbia, MD is seeking a Video Field Support Specialist to install, repair, and troubleshoot end-user devices at customer sites. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required, along with US citizenship.

Strong communication and remote support skills are essential. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining devices, configuring software, and ensuring customer satisfaction across field locations.

Qualifications

• Highest level of education: High school/GED with 4+ years of experience, or Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience reading technical manuals and schematics.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• US Citizenship required; TS/SCI polygraph clearance required.
• Ability to work with end-users remotely and at field sites.

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify end-user devices and related equipment.
• Perform maintenance and technical support on devices and systems at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

VIDEO Field Support Specialist needed in Columbia, MD!

Responsibilities Include:

• Installing, operating, maintaining, repairing and modifying end user devices such as personal computers, thin-clients, network interface cards, phones, monitors, printers, telephones, printers, pagers, and radios.
• Performing a variety of maintenance and technical support on devices, integrated systems and subsystems, and install/configure software at customer and/or field locations.
• Troubleshooting and solving technical issues related to end user equipment hardware and software.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Minimum education and experience level: High school/GED and a minimum of four (4) years of experience.
• Equivalent education and experience: Associate’s degree and two (2) years of experience.
• Highly skilled in installing, repairing and troubleshooting VTC devices and systems.
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Able to manage time and priorities effectively.
• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in working with end-users remotely.
• Familiar with Active Directory security and policies.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Outstanding communication skills to relate with team members and support workers.
• Required Clearance: Candidate must have a TS/SCI polygraph clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• IAT Level 1 Certification.

Approximate Salary Range: $48,000 - $62,700

A variety of factors impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
